This course introduces MBA students to the legal dimensions of entrepreneurship, with a focus on startup ventures operating in complex regulatory environments. Designed for future founders and innovation leaders, the course explores how legal tools — including founder agreements, equity instruments, and corporate governance frameworks — can support or hinder venture growth.
The course aims to equip students with three key competencies: fluency in ESG-related legal and market terminology; practical insight into the strategic dilemmas companies face; and the ability to think critically about the normative foundations and legal consequences of ESG-driven reforms.
